About Me

Hi, I'm Charlie.

I'm an ultra runner and coach based in the UK, and I started exactly where you might be right now — no road racing background, no running club, no idea what I was doing.

In 2021 I completed the Sussex Ultra — a 32-mile race across the South Downs — with nothing but determination and a willingness to put in the work. That race changed everything. It showed me that ultra running isn't reserved for a certain type of person. It's for anyone who decides they want it badly enough.

Since then I've gone deeper into the sport — most recently completing the Whistler 50, a 50K through the mountains of British Columbia, Canada. Every race teaches me something new about what the body and mind are capable of, and that knowledge goes straight into how I coach.

I coach through TrainingPeaks with a simple philosophy: your plan should fit your life, not the other way around. Every athlete I work with gets a programme built specifically for them, regular calls to keep things on track, and a coach who genuinely cares whether they make it to that start line.

If you're thinking about your first ultra — or your next one — I'd love to help you get there.
